Delete your Spruce account

Start in the iPhone app

Open Profile, choose Delete account, review the consequences, and reauthenticate with Sign in with Apple. You do not need to email or call support to initiate deletion. An active case does not block the request.

What deletion does

• Ends sessions and notifications, revokes the Sign in with Apple relationship, removes public identity and user-generated content, and severs personal links to erasable private payloads and ledgers.
• Cancels or lapses a private verification that still needs your personal attestation; Spruce does not infer that outcome complete.
• Stops undispatched outreach and starts the documented correction or takedown process for affected public material.

What may remain

Non-personal civic facts and already-mature community outcomes may remain when their published retention rules apply. Restricted audit receipts may remain without the erased personal payload when needed for security, integrity, legal obligations, or dispute handling.

Spruce cannot guarantee deletion of third-party X copies, search caches, screenshots, or records another person lawfully controls. The canonical case becomes a sanitized removal or correction state when required.

Timing and confirmation

Primary deletion is designed to complete within 30 days. Spruce provides a receipt and must reapply the deletion record before restored backups serve traffic. Contact privacy support if the in-app control is unavailable or if you need status help.
